AUDIO

Segel's pilot script Hellhound Country, now an original audio drama series, was a Podcast Fiction Semifinalist at the 2023 Austin Film Festival, placing in the top 2% of 11,000+ entries. Her sci-fi script Fort Atlas won the 2024 AFF's First Three Pages Live! competition and was read on stage at the ColdTowne Theater in Austin, Texas.

 

Segel partnered with Rogue Media Network in the creation of her dramatized sci-fi thriller Hellhound Country. The first season premiered in December 2024, featuring ten episodes. The second season, featuring twelve episodes, premiered in February 2026. Segel's writing credits include Karma (starring Catharine Daddario and Romy Evans) an episode of the multi-award-winning horror anthology Ominous Thrill, created by Jeff Schmidt.

FILM

Segel's original short Ember (directed and co-written by Manuel Del Valle and produced by Nomad Heart Studios) premiered in 2022 at the NFMLA + Latinx & Hispanic Cinema Festival at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and was selected by the LA Shorts International Film Festival. Her original written works have received numerous recognitions, including winner, finalist, and semifinalist placements in various competitions, such as the Austin Film Festival, the Creative World Awards, the ScreenCraft Fellowship and Pilot Launch, the WGI Michael Collyer Fellowship, Script Pipeline, and CineStory. Segel has several films in development, with releases scheduled for 2026.
